To locate in time with the year, the season or the month, use  « **en** » :

**Do not confuse:**

Je ne travaille pas samedi. =  je ne travaille pas samedi prochain.

//I don’t work on Saturday. = (meaning) I am not working next Saturday//

Je ne travaille pas le samedi.  =  je ne travaille jamais le samedi, tous les samedis, c'est une habitude.

//I don’t work on Saturdays. = (meaning) I never work on Saturdays, every Saturday, it is a habit.//

Punctual time :

The time interval :
