To locate in time with the day, note :

Do not confuse:

Je ne travaille pas samedi. = je ne travaille pas samedi prochain.

I don’t work on Saturday. = (meaning) I am not working next Saturday

Je ne travaille pas le samedi. = je ne travaille jamais le samedi, tous les samedis, c'est une habitude.

I don’t work on Saturdays. = (meaning) I never work on Saturdays, every Saturday, it is a habit.

To locate in time with the hour, note :

Punctual time :

• Notre avion arrive à 15h30.
• Our plane lands at 15 :30.
• Le magasin ouvre à 9h45.
• The shop opens at 9 :45.

The time interval :

• Nous sommes en réunion de 8h30 à 12h30.
• We are in a meeting from 8 :30 to 12 :30.
• Le secrétariat est ouvert de 9h à 19h30.
• Reception is open from 9 am to 7 :30 pm.
