Adjectives: masculine and feminine, singular and plural : general cases
Sarah est grande et jolie. Elle a les cheveux blonds et les yeux verts. C'est une collègue calme et compétente.
Sarah is tall and pretty. She has blond hair and green eyes. She is a calm and competent colleague.
To point out the form, colour, size, character …. of a person or a thing, use adjectives.
To specify a feminine noun, we must put the adjective in the feminine form. Usually, we add a final “e” :
