Pierre est calme, compétent, sérieux et motivé. (Pierre is calm, competent, serious, and motivated.)

Sarah est calme, compétente, sérieuse et motivée. (Sarah is calm, competent, serious, and motivated.)

To put an adjective in the feminine form, we generally add an « e » at the end of the masculine adjective :

If the masculine adjective finishes with « é » or « i », add an « e » at the end, but the pronunciation stays the same :

If the adjective in the masculine form finishes with “e”, the feminine and the masculine are identical :
